And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.

1. What does it mean to be divine?

Many people are seeking truth. Truth about themselves, about God, about the purpose of life.

There are many theories out there, many explanations. If you are reading this, you probably know, you sense, that there is more to life than the material world we live in. You probably know we are spiritual beings on a sojourn in matter.

But what does it mean? What do we do with the fact that we are spiritual beings? In what way should it influence our lives?

Well, in every way. Being a spiritual being means to have been created by God. And what God creates cannot be anything less than perfection. We are divine sparks which God created in his image in likeness.

God is a creator. By creating the world he expressed himself, freely. Since we are made in his image and likeness, we are also created to express ourselves and – to create. And we are given free will to do so. Otherwise we would be robots, automatons, not creative beings.

So what are we supposed to express? Well, God envisaged that we would express our divine core, our divine talents which we all possess, and by doing that, make the world a better place. And grow in the process too. We are like a spark of light learning to grow into a glowing Sun.

That is God's intention. He would love to see us grow and shine. He would love to see us happy and fulfilled, doing what we like to do, being creative, enjoying life.

2. You are who you think you are

But he cannot force us, because we have free will. And if we forget that we are a spark growing into a Sun, then how can we be happy? How can we know our purpose in life? We can only feel lost and frustrated, blaiming God or circumstances for our unhappiness.

How can we change that unfortunate state? By realizing who we really are. That is the only way – changing our sense of identity. Nothing else will do.

Many people have a very limited sense of identity. Some believe they are mere mortals, some that there are nothing more than sophisticated animals and that there is nothing beyond the material world. Well, that is a very unfortunate state of mind because it limits not only their lives but also the lives of the people around them, and in fact the entire mass consciousness.

We are all connected – coming from one source – so when I am unhappy and miserable, I affect people around me and it spreads like ripples on the water. No man is an island and even if you hide from the world, you are in the world, affecting all others. If you are a spiritual person, this matters to you. Because you want to be a beneficial presence, you want to make a difference. Well, you can only make a positive difference by expanding your sense of self. By being who you are.

3. Free yourself from illusions

So what we need to do is rediscover who we are, to connect to our divine core and let it express itself. Let God within express itself. That is our task – nothing less, nothing more. It's pretty easy to say. But it's more difficult to do.

Because most of us forgot who we are. We cannot accept that ultimate truth, that wonderful truth about ourselves. And why? Because it takes courage, and it takes responsibility, to free ourselves from everything we are NOT.

And spiritual growth is exactly about that – of freeing ourselves from all illusions, all lies, all misconceptions, and accepting our true identity. And living it. Being a spontaneous, free, loving presence in the world. How about that?

Yes, it sounds nice but we have fears, doubts, many unresolved issues that need healing – before we can truly accept who we are. Before we can allow God within to sustain us, to fill us with inspiration, to move us, to guide us. God is not some outer figure who wants to impose his will on us – that's just one of the many false images of God.

God is your higher self, God is the true you, the divine core. Only you have built some layers around that core – some illusions – and now you believe you are something else. And you try to protect that something, believing it can give you more fulfillment than your true self, than God.

But the only true fulfillment comes from being who we really are – from liberating ourselves from illusions. We cannot be happy by being something else than what we are created to be. It is painful, it is frustrating and on the long run, it doesn't lead anywhere. So the sooner we realize who we are, the better.

4. All you need is within

Inside of us is a source of great power. That is our higher self, the God within. We only believe we are powerless because we are disconnected from that inner source. And that source – which is one with the greater God without – is the true source of power, love, nurturance, everything we need to live an abundant life.

All we need is within, if we only care to look. The kingdom is within. But in order to access it, we need to connect to our true self. We need to let go of all that separates us. And the largest illusion that separates us is our sense of identity. Which says that we cannot do it, that it cannot possibly be true. That we are less, that we are unworthy or a myriad of other excuses.

Excuses for not living fully. For coming only half way and then becoming content with what we have. Thinking that some things will never change, that some manifestation on Earth simply have to be like that. Accepting less for ourselves, accepting less for life.

But life is more. Life is the greatest gift, and you literally have the power of God inside of you. You can create a miraculous life, but you can also create misery. We are so powerful indeed.

5. Total transformation of consciousness

We create through our beliefs, our thoughts, emotions, and of course our actions. If we believe we are less, we create less, we create pain, suffering and imbalances. If we believe we are more, we create more. We create beauty, harmony, peace, abundance. We bring love wherever we go. Just by knowing who we are.

It is not positive thinking, it is not convincing yourself that you are rich, happy and successful, while underneath having a myriad of unsolved issues which undermine your efforts. No. It is resolving those issues, healing your wounds, and letting go of all that keeps you imprisoned. It is getting to know your subconscious too – your subconscious beliefs, desires, feelings, including that what you believe is forbidden. It is exposing everything to the light of truth. And rising above it, with the love and power of God that is inside of you.

Yes, it is a total transformation of consciousness, it is creating yourself anew. Starting from the place of infinite and unconditional love – love of your creator for you. A very personal love. You are not alone, you never were alone. You only thought you were. You were told so, by your parents, by religious, scientific and other institutions of the society, even by some spiritual teachers and gurus.

Everything around us shouts "you are unworthy, you are insignificant, who do you think you are!" And that is the greatest lie found on this planet. While the truth is something else. And when we really accept who we are, then and only then can the true healing begin.

6. Earth can be more

Earth has been devoid from truth for a very long time. People have been pacified. People have sunken further into blindness, further into separation from their source. It is like having a diamond in your heart but not knowing about it, and having others telling you that it's not there, that you are imagining it. That you are a dreamer.

But no, my friend, you are not a dreamer, you are not an idealist. You are arealist. Because you know it in your heart that there must be more. You sense God's reality. And your feeling is right.

You could be much more. Earth could be a much better place - if enough people would awaken to their true identity. If they would understand how powerful they are, how grand they are. If they knew, nothing could stop them. We could bring heaven to earth, and soon.

Spiritual cycles are turning and we are entering the Age of Aquarius. It means that more spiritual light is streaming down to Earth - and with that, more truth, more teachings - the veil of ignorance in thining. There is a potential for a largescale awakening. Still, it won't happen automatically, by some cosmic cataclysm or rapture. No, it will happen only if enough people accept their true identity and start living it.

Golden Age of peace and prosperity starts in our minds. It starts with changing our perspective.

Whoever you think you are, you are MORE. And this MORE has the power to change not just your personal life but the world around you.
