I. FALSE TEACHERS OF HUMANKIND

1. Scribes and Pharisees - Interpreters of the Law

When Moses asked God about his name, God responded I AM THAT I AM. He didn’t say I AM this, or I AM that – he didn’t give a definition of what he is. Why? Because God is beyond descriptions and definitions. God is always More than one can imagine, more than can be put into words. Human mind likes to define God according to its own ideas, but it is always limiting. People have gone to wars because their descriptions of God didn’t match. In the Old Testament it is given “don’t kill”, and yet many have killed in God’s name. This is what happens when people seek to interpret God without understanding his main message – the message of Love.

You can know all the scriptures in the world and yet not know God. Because God can be found only through the heart. Pure, humble heart. The prideful ones cannot know God. If you think you know God, and then you kill people in God’s name, then you are a hypocrite. If you claim you love God and then elevate yourself above the others, seeking power and positions, you are mistaken about God.

God is the greatest servant of all. If you are not willing to be a humble loving servant, you cannot know God.

There are many who profess to know God and represent God’s Word, and yet have no love in their hearts. In Jesus’ times they were the scribes and Pharisees, the well-educated ones, who knew the scriptures very well and served to interpret the Word to the uneducated masses. But when Jesus came, in the fullness of God’s Love and Truth, they not only didn’t recognize him but condemned him and crucified him. Nothing he said or do could convince them that he speaks the truth. In their pride, they were unreachable. They were blind leaders leading the blind.

But after his physical death, Jesus kept living in the hearts of his disciples, who preached the Word and healed the sick by the power of the Holy Spirit. Nothing could silence the Holy Spirit – it bloweth wherever a humble heart listeth.

But the prideful ones cannot hear. So they use their intellectual understanding of God to interpret the scriptures – interpretation which often doesn’t reflect the truth. And so the great irony is that those who are blind and deaf to the truth of the Holy Spirit have been the main interpreters of the Holy Scriptures, and they have been doing it for ages. They even made modifications, or took out certain “compromising” parts, which would challenge their interpretation. Some statements were proclaimed anathema, e.g. the doctrine on reincarnation, so that anyone who would dare to mention it would be excommunicated from the Church (see: Anathemas of Origen, pronounced at the Second Council of Constantinople, 553 A.D., http://www.comparativereligion.com/anathemas.html).

Jesus challenges the scribes and Pharisees about their blindness:

He said to the crowd: "When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, 'It's going to rain,' and it does. And when the south wind blows, you say, 'It's going to be hot,' and it is. Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky. How is it that you don't know how to interpret this present time?

"Why don't you judge for yourselves what is right? As you are going with your adversary to the magistrate, try hard to be reconciled to him on the way, or he may drag you off to the judge, and the judge turn you over to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison. I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny!” (Luke 12:54-59)

The “wise” ones, the scribes and Pharisees, continued to misinterpret the Word of God up until this day, keeping the people in ignorance and submission. The main lie being that we, the “simple” people, cannot know God and cannot talk with God in our heart. And so we need the clergy to absolve us from our sins and decide about our salvation.

The true task of the clergy, and of the Church, is to bring the Word closer to people, to speak the truth that Jesus also spoke, so that we can connect more easily with God in our heart. Unfortunately, the Church didn't bring the Word closer to people, but often twisted and misinterpreted it, taking us further away from God and Truth.

This is the plot the prideful ones, those who wouldn’t have the children of God find their freedom and self-empowerment in God. They wanted to trap God’s children in the sense of guilt and powerlessness, submitting to the authority of the (religious or political) elite. On the surface they often appear loving, but underneath is hidden their true face:

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. (Matthew 7:15)

Jesus warns us that not all who profess their love for God are pure at heart:

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 7:21)

False prophets and false interpreters of the Law don’t want to surrender to God’s will. They don’t want to bend the knee, believing they know better than God.

2. If thine eye be evil

Theirs is the false wisdom – the wisdom that comes through intellectual understanding, even of advanced spiritual concepts, and yet it is worthless if one lacks heart. In fact, it becomes dangerous, because a brilliant mind and a closed heart make the most dangerous combination. Therefore,

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! (Matthew 6:22-23)

And indeed, the Catholic Church went through periods of great darkness, specially in the Middle Ages, when the flow of the Holy Spirit was shut for almost one thousand years. Religious persecution and tyranny of the clergy, allied with feudal lords, put Europe in complete darkness. The Crusades were another unholy product of that period.

During Renaissance, the Holy Spirit started flowing again. It brought new ideas, inventions, culture and art. Scientific discoveries revolutionized the Middle Ages mind box. There was More for everyone, not just for the elite.

But time and again, the elite tries to stop the flow, tries to stop our connection with God, or bring distorted teachings. And so, after the period of Romanticism in the 18th and 19th century, when the world was blessed with most talented composers who brought down heavenly music, the era of modernism came about, when everything that belonged to the “old order” was rejected as reactionary and stifling progress.

The baby was thrown out together with the bath water, and the Divine order, which was reflected in many human creations up until that point, was replaced by disorder and disintegration. Pablo Picasso’s works, depicting distorted visions of reality, became most sought-after pieces.  A lot of modernism was antithetical to life, promoting decadence and chaos. And this fascination with death, discord and disharmony remained till the present day, in art, music, entertainment etc.

Beethoven and Shakespeare were inspired by the Holy Spirit, but how about Stravinsky and Edgar Allan Poe? The first two were celebrating life, the other two tearing it apart. How many “geniuses” are there today who are working against God’s intention? How many with an evil eye?

3. Fallen angels – false teachers of humankind

And why? What is it that “inspires” those people to such visions and such creations? Well, it is the lack of love for God and for God’s creation. They rebelled against God’s plan eons ago, in the octaves of light. They are the fallen angels, who once were standing near the throne of God, endowed with great light and great wisdom. They were to serve God’s creation, specially the sons and daughters of God (children of Light) who were meant to rise from being a babe in Christ to a fully mature spiritual being, a Sun unto the world. The angels were meant to help their younger brothers the sisters, as they walk the path of becoming the Christ, becoming the Son/Sun. But they didn’t like the idea that those “inferior” lifestreams were given free will, fearing that this will eventually destroy the material universe – the platform for growth of souls. So they rebelled against God’s plan.

And they were driven out of heaven, the Holy Place, because only those who love God can remain there. God was merciful and allowed them to take embodiment on Earth. There they soon rose to positions of power and authority, due to their superior wisdom and skills – being of high attainment before the Fall. They managed to set themselves up as teachers, as the wise ones, who would teach the children of God the path to God. But that was a false path, the path of disobedience and separation from God.

4. False wisdom of the Serpent

Serpent was one such wisdom angels who fell in the Great Rebellion and was cast down to Earth. He was there in the Garden of Eden to tempt Adam and Eve – who represent the children of Light. He promised them secret knowledge, something that God supposedly hides from them, that would propel them to great spiritual heights and enlightenment. He was very cunning, they were curious, and they didn’t understand why God doesn’t want them to eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, assuming that God is really hiding something from them.

And so they followed the Serpent. Not only that, but they later hid from God when he looked for them. Some of them hid out of fear of retribution, some because they wanted to see what the Serpent has to offer. They didn’t want to go back. And because God had respect for their free will, he had to let them go. Ever since, they are running away from God, following in the ways of the false teachers.

What is the greatest fallacy of the Serpent teaching? That you can have “more” outside of God. The lie is that when you disobey the true teacher, God’s representative, you will find the “more”, you will find something that will finally make you happy/fulfilled/immortal. The truth is that More cannot be found outside of God. If we step outside God’s will, we automatically fall into less, and even if it doesn’t seem like that at first, on the long run we are on the way to self-destruction.
There is no real life outside God, and certainly no eternal life. The wisdom of the fallen angels, who offer us various shortcuts to salvation, is a lie. It can only lead to less.

There are many self-proclaimed gurus nowadays who offer enlightenment, while leaving out the key step: love God with all your heart, mind and soul, and surrender to God’s will. What kind of enlightenment is it then? Well, it can include various energetic manifestations, like (forced) kundalini awakening, or the ability to manipulate matter through the power of the mind, or to tap into the psychic realm of false channeling, or similar.

But all that falls in the domain of false wisdom, false attainment and false enlightenment – because that is not the way of God. You cannot take heaven by force, and this is what the false gurus and their followers are trying to do.

5. Only Being leads to Wisdom

There is only one way to God – the Way of Being, and it includes having a pure heart and loving God’s will. And then gradually letting go of all lesser desires and seeking only the will of God to be done. When we realize that in God we have everything, and that God’s will is also our higher will, only then does the path really begin. It is a path of adoration and dedication, to both God the Mother and God the Father.

God the Mother encompasses the entire world of form – the material universe, planet Earth, Mother Nature, our physical temple. And God the Father is the consciousness that created all this, it is the beyond, the transcendent, the More. By Being both God the Father and God the Mother, in a balanced union, we give birth to the Son, who says “I and my Father are One”. And that is true Wisdom, that is Christ consciousness.

It doesn’t come from outside of you, as something you learn from books and scriptures, but it comes from within, through Being the Purity of the Mother and following the Divine Direction of the Father.

There is no Wisdom outside of Christ consciousness. There is no true way outside of Being Father-Mother God.

Those caught in pride and false wisdom are in fact representing the anti-christ consciousness, which doesn’t want to come into oneness with God. It rebels against God’s will, i.e. Father’s Divine Direction, and it wants to control the Mother so that she would follow its false direction – the false wisdom of the serpent. The Mother encompasses the entire material world, everything that the transcendent Father has created. Which means it encompasses us too. We are Divine Mother in embodiment.

The false wisdom of the serpent wants to control the children of Light and keep them from reaching their Christ potential. And that’s why many of the false teachers can be found in religion and spirituality – because religion and spirituality should serve to show us the way back to God. But instead of serving the children to find oneness with God, the false teachers are leading the children astray, to further separation.

6. Examples of false wisdom in religion and spirituality

In religion:

  • that you are a mortal sinner without a divine spark in you
  • that God is an external God
  • that Jesus Christ was the only Son of God
  • that God cannot speak in your heart but that the clergy has a monopoly on God (also because they know the scriptures, and you don’t, so you are incompetent)
  • that you cannot be saved but through the clergy who serves as a mediator between you and God
  • that women are inferior to men in their purity and wisdom (which stems from the misinterpretation of the story of Adam and Eve), and that they need to be controlled/guided by men

In New-Age spirituality (which came as a reaction to the oppression of the Catholic Church but swayed into the other extreme of “anything goes”):

  • That you don't need to be saved but that you are saved already

  • That all paths to God are valid, and that you don’t need to be the Christ to know God

  • Therefore, you don’t need Purity and Divine Direction, but you follow what feels good and gives you blissful experiences in the physical (e.g. peek experiences), instead of seeking true union with God

  • Belief that you can find union with God without total surrender to God and letting go of your ego and attachments to the things of this world.

In society at large:

  • That you need someone or something of God in order to feel whole.

We see how the false wisdom covers all bases, so to speak. When people start awakening from the oppression of one kind (like the Catholic Church and its doctrines) and finding freedom of Being, immediately false teachings are brought into the new movement, e.g. the New Age movement, and again, the truth of Christ gets lost.
The path is indeed narrow, and only few find it:

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)

It is the narrow way because one needs to remain in purity and vigilant to all energies that would take us way from God. False prophets promise you the riches of the world, like Satan promised to Jesus in the desert, but if you love God with all your heart, you can resist those temptations because you know that there is nothing good there, and the end thereof is death.

There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. (Proverbs 16:25)

There is no shortcut to God, but there is a clear Way. And it is the Way of Being.

False wisdom is present in other areas of life, specially in science which denies the existence of God, and in various materialistic philosophies (Marxism, communism, Darwinism, scientific materialism) which claim that man is nothing but a sophisticated animal, without a divine spark. But these ideologies are not widely accepted because the majority of people know that the truth is different – they feel it in their hearts, and no one can convince them there is no God. Therefore, much more dangerous are those who twist the truth in subtler ways, giving you some truths, or even many truths, but then inserting lies which finally lead you astray.

II. FALSE WISDOM OF THE CONSCIOUS YOU

1. The Observer (pure awareness) vs. the Real You

There are spiritual teachings that say that the core of who we are is the observer – a consciousness that observes what is happening to us, without getting involved in the thoughts and feelings and that arise in us. It is indeed useful to know that we are more than our thoughts and feelings, so we can rise above them and find a place of peace. With the help of meditation, some find “peace” by becoming blank, disengaged from life, from other people, even from their dreams and aspirations, because they come to see it all as "unreality". Their peace is more akin to indifference and withdrawal from life, than true peace which stems from Being and fulfilling our divine plan.

The truth is that we are not merely an observer, we are not an empty (albeit self-conscious) vessel which can adopt whatever identity it wants, but we have our identity in God. We are more than pure awareness – we are a divine spark, a flame of God, before even becoming conscious of it. And this flame is anchored in our heart, not in our mind. So literally, we are MORE than we think, more than we are aware of.

What we think we are is just a mental concept. Humanity fell so deep in the illusion of separation, the illusion of Maya, that some people completely forgot who they are in God. Their consciousness is so focused on the physical realm that they cannot grasp there is anything beyond.

Some people – philosophers and thinkers – realized that there has to be more, so they came up with various mental concepts of God. For them, God is an idea that we can study, that we can talk about, but it is not something that is inside of us. It is external.

And that's the standpoint of the mainstream religion – that God is an external entity. When the truth is that God – the spark of God – is inside of us, anchored in our heart. But religious and social programming, and various painful experiences we had in our life, when our love was rejected, caused this spark to be dimmed, almost extinguished. We hardly feel it any more.

The cure is to invite God back in our hearts, to want God's love more than anything else. To throw away concepts and theories and just love, love, love. And surrender. Surrender into God's arms, where we truly belong.

Being starts in the heart, it starts with love and surrender. That's when the fire in our heart is rekindled, when we start living again. Before that, it is just an imitation of life. It is just some unreality that we believe we need to go along with, because everybody else does. But that's the greatest lie of all.

If you are not Being who you really are in God, then you are living in an illusion and your life is a waste of time.

2. Conscious You – false identity outside of God

Many people lead their lives totally disconnected from God. They don't even consider to ask God for guidance because they think they know what's best for them.

As soon as we think we know what's best for us and our life, without having asked God first, we are in the realm of Conscious You. We pursue more of the things of this world, instead of More of God that we are. It will never bring us true satisfaction, but it will keep us busy for the rest of our life.

Conscious You has worldly wisdom. It knows how to get more – outside of God.

What is the more outside of God? It is all that we crave for when we don't have fulfilment in God:

  • A perfect partner (human love)
  • Material abundance
  • Worldly success and recognition

Those are the top priorities of the Conscious You. If we are not one with God, we are bound to crave for those (with more or less stress on one or the other, depending on the person).

In oneness with God, we already have God as our perfect partner.

We already have abundance – spiritual abundance as the flow of love and light between us and God, and between us and our brothers and sisters.

And we already have success – we are Being who we are and sharing our light, and thus fulfilling our reason for Being.

Our planet is ruled by Conscious You, who sets criteria for personal happiness and success. Conscious You even motivates us to personal growth, so that we become more capable of getting what we want. But again, if what we want is not God, it is ultimately a false quest.

Personal growth can help us heal parts of our psychology and come to greater integrity within ourselves (for example becoming more self-confident and less dependent on other people), but if we don't start giving out selflessly and shining our light, we are not Being. If we don't surrender our life to God, and follow Divine Direction in Purity, we are not fulfilling our reason for Being.

Conscious You is the dweller on the threshold between us and God, making us not listen to Divine Direction and seek the false more.

When we listen to Conscious You, we are not Being, we are not fulfilling our divine plan but are pursuing what our ego thinks is best for us.

Only by loving God More, by loving Divine Direction, can we break free from the Conscious You and step into the light of Being I AM You.

3. The origin of the Conscious You

Humankind has inaugurated Conscious You as the ruler on this planet already long ago, ever since Adam and Eve fell in the Garden of Eden. They refused to follow Divine Direction (not to eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil) and were lured by the Serpent who promised them "more" outside of God. They stepped out of oneness with God because they didn't trust that in God, and in Being, they would have everything they need – all joy, happiness and fulfilment.

Gradually they would also develop true wisdom – wisdom of the Christ Son. But it wouldn't be through receiving outside knowledge – by eating from the Tree of Knowledge, but through Being. Wisdom would come as a natural consequence of Being Father-Mother God, i.e. following Divine Direction in Purity, and not as something that comes from the outside, through the mind and intellect.

By stepping outside of God's Law, Adam and Eve opened themselves to the false wisdom of the Serpent, who had great intellectual and spiritual knowledge, but lacked love. Serpent didn't like the idea that spiritually immature beings (those with little wisdom) are given free will. He feared the consequences this could have on the material universe. Basically, he didn't trust the children of God, but feared them. And because of his great wisdom, he thought he was superior to them and has the right to rule them.

So instead of love, he had fear and pride. He lured the children of God with his superior wisdom – which they thought would unveil some ultimate secret which God is keeping from them. But there was no ultimate secret. The only secret is that we Be. Wisdom outside of Being means wisdom without love, and it can only bring trouble. Brilliant mind and no heart, is the greatest threat on this planet.

Conscious You is the realm of wisdom, which was created when Adam and Eve stepped outside of Divine Direction. They needed something to guide them, something to base their decisions on, and wisdom of the fallen angels provided them with answers. They also developed longing for God – for wholeness they once had –
but since they fell into duality, they tried to fulfil it with the things of this world. And this started the quest for human love (a perfect partner), material wealth, and worldly recognition and success. Those were all surrogates for love and fulfilment that comes from Being in God.

Conscious You also contains ideas about God – mental images of God – which originate mostly from fallen angels, since they know a lot about God and spiritual realm. However, they don't have love for God and God's children, and their views of God are based on separation. They are the ones who promote God as an external authority. They are also those who promote various false paths to God, instead of the only true path – the path of Being.

False teachers will tell you that you can keep your ego – your consciousness of separation – and still be saved, by following their doctrines and rituals. The truth is that nothing will do but a complete surrender to God and purifying ourselves of all that is lesser than God. Only Being will do.

4. Conscious You limits your creativity

Many people today don't know who they really are, not even what their talents are. Many children are suppressed in their Being, either because the parents are overprotective (which indicates they lack faith that God would keep their children safe) or because the child doesn't behave "properly", according to some human standard.

Education system doesn't encourage creativity either. It is a mechanical, one-size-fits-all system, where the stress is on memorizing data and facts (gaining outside "wisdom") instead of developing children's inherent curiosity and learning through a creative process – through Being.

Most of the students choose college based on what is most lucrative in terms of later finding a well-paid job, or having a diploma of a prestigious university – which also means better career opportunities. So the motivation is often based on worldly ideals, and not what would really make us happy. And, we often don't even know what would make us happy (we haven't discovered our talents), so we are bound to follow the dictates of the society, the dictates of the Conscious You.

The society today is built on the premises of the Conscious You false wisdom, and is very far from God's vision for this planet. And that's because the majority of people are not in touch with their true selves. Many people are caught in the "system", working for others, not loving their jobs, but yet feeling they cannot break free because they don't how else they would support themselves.

We are burying our talents in the ground and living to eat, not eating to live. We are here to shine our light – the light of the Son – but instead we are busy with mortal pursuits. And all because we forgot who we are.

5. Be divinely guided

The only way to break free from the Conscious You is to throw away the worldly wisdom and get in touch with God in your heart. Know that you are a child of God, and that you are here to Be all that you are in God. Accept God's unconditional love for you, allow God to heal your wounds. Trust that He will provide. Surrender all your pain to God. Let him wipe away all your tears. There is so much More in store for you. God has a great plan for you, you only need to trust and tune into his loving guidance. And it will be given to you.
